Supporting James White Library’s Cause
This Giving Day, we invite you to support the creation of a modern collaborative learning space at the James White Library. The reference area has already undergone initial renovations, including the removal of shelving and the installation of new carpeting. The next step is furnishing the space to foster peer-to-peer learning.
This new environment will allow students to work in small groups, participate in tutorials, solve problems, exchange knowledge, and unwind when needed. It is designed to support the evolving learning and research habits of both students and faculty.
This initiative marks the first phase of a broader library transformation, which will eventually include more group study rooms, maker spaces, and areas for academic services, learning, and presentations.
