Second Sunday Concert

Choral Invitational

The Second Sunday Concert Series presents I Cantori (pronounced: ee-cantoree) under the direction of Jonathan Wall. The repertoire will include selections from 鈥淢ass in D鈥� by Joseph Haydn, 鈥淟ibera Me鈥� by Lajos Bardos and O Magnum Mysterium by Morten Lauridsen. Guest violinist Sedric Benson will perform with I Cantori on 鈥淔ive Hebrew Love Songs鈥� by Eric Whitacre. Singing in the second half of the concert is Canta Bella conducted by Monica Pavel, and Pioneer Men鈥檚 Chorus under the direction of Delmar Freire and Anwar Ottley.

The one-hour concert will begin at 4 p.m., March 8, 2009, in the Howard Performing Arts Center on the campus of 51黑料.
